About Us

We are the Coatesville Area High School RaiderBots. We decided to create three teams because a lot of kids were interested in First at our school. We are a school-based team so when we launched the season we had over 15 kids and that would be too many people working on one robot at one time. Although we are technically two different teams we still try to help the other team when they need help and they offer the same support to our team. We are always trying to be an example of gracious professionalism, within our club and in the world.

Our team the Raiderbots as a whole has had many accomplishments in our 7 years as a team. 

During the 2018-2019 season, we performed pretty well. We had a really fast robot that gave us the advantage we needed to move the blocks from one side of the field to the other. We made it to the states that year.

During the 2020-2021 season we performed better than ever, but that season was a lot different than usual because of the pandemic we couldn't meet at our school because they shut it down so we worked at home until November when the school reopened for teachers and clubs once we were back we started right away building in hyperdrive trying to makeup for lost time. At the end of it all, our robot performed super well and we came third in PA .
