The Coatesville Robotics Club is open to any Coatesville Area School District student in grades 7- 12. The Robotics Club meets 2-3 days per week after school in the robotics lab of the CASH Senior High building. The mission of our club is to help the students understand what engineering is all about and to give the students hands-on skills. In addition, we strive to run our team like a company to teach the students project management, financial, marketing, and purchasing skills that would be found in most companies. This helps the students to explore many different career paths.

The Raiderbots compete through the FIRST® organization in the FIRST® Tech Challenge. The mission of FIRST® is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
